Bicycle touring

We recommend trying the route: Štúrovo – Kamenný Most – Ľubá – Belá – Mužla – Obid – Štúrovo with a length of 46,2 km and an elevation of 139 m. The road is not suitable for road bikes. It leads along the embankment of the Danube and the beautiful Hron to the surrounding ponds. It continues through the surrounding villages, past the baroque Château in Bela and the Mužla vineyards, from where the path will take you to the embankment by the Danube. Before Obid, you get off the embankment, and through the village, you get back to Štúrovo.

Hiking

Štúrovo is the southernmost town in Slovakia. The town has a beautiful location by the Danube, from the Mária Valéria bridge there is a beautiful view of the
historical buildings of Ostrihom, the Burda mountain range, and the Pilis hills. On the Slovak side, we recommend a hike to the Kováčovské hills, on the Hungarian side you can take a trip to the Dobogókő hill, where, according to legends, the “heart chakra of the Earth” is located and therefore the hill is full of healing energy.
