The variety comes from Moldova, it is a hybrid of Alicante Bouschet & Cabernet Sauvignon, which came to Czechoslovakia in 1959 by Professor Kraus. It is an abrasion that needs a longer maturation in a wooden barrel. This wine has matured for 3 years. In the aroma, we find the aroma of dried tobacco, poppies, green and ground peppers. It is suitable for steaks and red meat. The wine is characterized by a higher content of tannins and acids.
